Accessibility

Central Synagogue works to prioritize and accommodate everyone in our community. Wheelchair accessible entries and designated seats are available at all service locations. Additionally, both of our locations have Assisted Listening Devices. Central Synagogue will have the PEARLS Hearing Loop System available for use and David Geffen Hall will have audio headsets and hearing loops available. Both locations will have large print prayer books.

Closed captioning is available for all livestream services.

If you’ll be celebrating the High Holy Days at David Geffen Hall and require an accessible entrance, please enter from Josie Robertson Plaza to access the lobby and from Broadway at the south side of 65th Street to access events in the Griffin Sidewalk Studio. Accessible routes from the lobby to all tiers and performance spaces are accessible by elevator. Accessible seating is available to any guest that needs an accommodation. Please see an usher or Guest Services Representative for assistance.

Please call Central Synagogue's Front Desk Reception at 212-838-5122 with any questions about accessibility or speak with our Shamashim (usher) upon arrival for help with seating and other accessibility features. Learn more about Central's accessibility options.

For assistance onsite at David Geffen Hall, please see a representative at the Guest Services Podium located in the Grand Foyer. For any additional questions or to address your specific accessibility or medical needs, please contact David Geffen Hall Disabled Services at 888-609-7599.
